Sales KPIs: How I Use Weekly Metrics to Hit My Goals

Every solid plan is measurable. For me right now, it’s a simple loop: 20 calls → 5 small wins → 2 bigger clients. On Sundays, I like to share how I actually apply project/program/lean/agile thinking to my own business so you can borrow what works and adapt it to your world.

What This Looks Like in Practice

  • Weekly focus: 20 quality conversations booked and completed.
  • Momentum: Expect 4–8 follow-ups rolling over from the prior week.
  • Outcomes: ~5 quick wins → ~2 larger engagements.
  • Continuous improvement: inspect & adapt (retro), then adjust the plan.

📝 Already clear you need a proven framework? We’ll discuss a Strategy Session as your next step.

A couple of days ago, I shared my sales KPI framework: 4 calls a day should yield one small sale, and those small wins together should lead to a couple of larger sales each week. That plan ultimately breaks down into: 20 calls a week → ~5 small sales → ~2 larger sales Recently, I’ve been tracking my own numbers. What I see is that in addition to those 20 calls, there are usually another half-dozen follow-ups carrying over from the prior week. We’ll do an initial call, then a follow-up to take the next step forward. Every plan has to be adjusted like that over time. If you’re having difficulty solidifying your own process—or getting results in a complex area—schedule a clarity call with me. Let’s talk it through and get you on a path to verifiable, predictable success.

If you’re refining your own KPI loop (for job search, team performance, or a leadership mandate) and want a second set of eyes, bring your plan to a Clarity Call. We’ll turn it into a week-by-week execution rhythm.
