How to change careers the right way

Changing careers is a bold move, and if you too are considering it, you should know that you’re not alone.

Over 50% of employees in the States are considering it. 44% are going to make plans around it. 30% are taking initiative.

How to change careers the right way
Why do most want to change careers but only a few make it

Do you see where we’re going here?

Only 20% have succeeded, and unfortunately, most of them were forced into a career change due to COVID or other unforeseen circumstances. Only a very small number of people could change careers for the better.

Most people have an idea of what they like. However, it’s more of an abstract concept rather than a concrete plan. So they end up giving up or choosing something that may or may not work for them.

Also, not everyone has the guts or the money to afford such a change. When you change careers, you may initially earn less. But will you ever make as much as now, and in how long?

Then, there’s the terrifying fear of the unknown. Even if you don’t like your current job, you know it. You got used to being miserable in a very precise way, because you know it will pay the bills.

These things are normal. As stated before, 50% of Americans go through the same process.

Secret passage to break free

The secret is to find a way to break free from all this.

A while ago, I was in a meaningless job, and I was passed over for promotion after promotion. Plus, all my relationships failed, and my health was a disaster. I was enduring and hoping things would get better on their own.

Well, they didn’t!

I decided I wanted to be part of that tiny percentage of people who change careers for something better!

Pillars of satisfaction and success

After years of studying and researching, I found the solution, and I’m now fulfilled in my job and other aspects of my life.

I discovered the 4 pillars of satisfaction and success:

  1. Purpose. Finding and following your life purpose brings immense energy and motivation beyond anything you’ve experienced.
  2. Success mindset. This mental state leads you to accomplish all your goals independently of anything that happens around you.
  3. Positive relationships. Surround yourself with people who value you and support you for who you are.
  4. Leadership. We all rely on others, and being a leader means positively guiding and influencing those around you.

These 4 pillars have the power to transform your life, as they have changed mine and that of many others.

You’ll have a mind shift that will make you align with your vision, so you can change careers and succeed in anything you want.
