Finding your passion and purpose in life. You can do it!

Are you longing to find your true passion and purpose in life? Look no further! I’m thrilled to share some valuable insights on this journey of self-discovery.

I spent many years looking into that and seeing how one can do it, step by step, so that anyone can do it. It doesn’t require specialized knowledge or a specific framework or actions that are difficult or secret.

Join me as we explore practical steps anyone can take to unlock their potential. Let’s dive in!

Here are three things to do that will help you find passion and purpose in life.

1. Finding your passion and purpose in life by self-reflecting

The first step is to take a look at your life as it currently is. Consider what you’re doing that you particularly enjoy and what you’re doing that you may not enjoy so much. Just do a self-assessment and consider:

  • What you’re doing.
  • What you want to be doing.
  • What you’d rather be doing.
  • What you’d like to do that you’ve never done before.
  • What you’re taking steps to do.
  • What you’re afraid of.
  • What you’re trying to avoid.

It’s essential to be creative and thoughtful. Do some open-minded, creative thinking. The thoughts have always been there in the back of your head. We all have hopes and dreams. It’s just that some of us need to get the encouragement to do this kind of self-inquiry and develop this level of self-awareness. It’s an essential, simple, and fun step to do.

Look down below and get the blueprint. It will step you through all the questions you need to answer for this self-assessment.

2. Finding your passion and purpose in life by thinking about the future

The number two thing that you want to do toward finding your passion and purpose in life is to take a look at your life long term.

  • Think out 30-40 years in the future. What do you want your life to be like, at that point?
  • What do you want people to think and know about you, at that point?
  • What would you consider your life as well lived, if you had done it by that point?
  • What are the things you’re not currently working on that are on those lists?

Those are areas around which you certainly have some purpose, and I suspect you’ve got some passion as well. Those are important things to look at!

Take it back an order of magnitude in three or four years. Where do you want to be? Those are the things that, if you start now, you can get there.

Sometimes we need a little nudge, or we need someone to give us permission, or we need someone to ask us what do you want, before we really get clear about what it is.

What is it that you really want?

What is your passion and purpose in life?

I am giving you permission to ask those questions. I just wanted to ask you now. Write your answers as a comment below, or at least download the Life Purpose Blueprint and answer them.

3. Finding your purpose and passion in life by exposure

The third thing you want to do, toward finding your passion and purpose in life is get more experiences.

Do things.

Do something new, and don’t do the same thing as you always do.

If you’re questioning whether you found your passion and purpose in life, and if you’re here now wondering, you probably haven’t fully found it yet, or maybe you did, but you haven’t experienced your current life in the ways you’ve most wanted. Whatever you’ve been doing up till now, it’s essential. It’s valuable and relevant. Otherwise, you’re not going to do it at all. Furthermore, no one in your environment is likely to allow you to do something that’s really disruptive for long.

However, what you’ve been doing, and the way you’ve been doing it so far, probably isn’t your passion and purpose in life.

Your passion and purpose in life are probably something you haven’t seen, learned about, or known about yet. You haven’t found that combination of things in your personal life. It may be that you simply need to put them together differently. Maybe your passion and purpose in life are just a different combination, and you just haven’t connected all the dots the right way yet. Maybe your passion and purpose in life are totally foreign to you.

Anyway, getting out and doing new things, seeing new things, hearing new perspectives, and spending time in activities that you haven’t spent time in before, gives you exposure to things, places, people, opportunities, processes, and tools that you can add to your arsenal. It gives you more ideas about where your passion and purpose may lie.

Those are three things that are gonna really take you a step further and take you a bunch of steps further toward finding your passion and purpose in life.

Do that self-assessment in the Life Purpose Blueprint, take the long-term view, get in action, and do something differently.
