A Few Favorites for Inspiration, Athletics, Performance, and Recovery

What do you do for fun? Here are a few of my favorites: things, places, and people. Let them know I recommended them. Maybe I’ll see you there soon!

  • Sam Ovens (from $30k in debt to $20M in revenue by age 29)
  • Russell Brunson (This guy knows how to launch and scale products)

Product Development

Walt Disney in 1946

  • Mark Cuban
  • Richard Branson
  • Ross Perot

  • InsideTracker
    • They’ve improved, enhanced, and helped me manage my diet, activity, and energy levels over the years. I love getting my latest metabolic data.
  • Rogue Running
    • Coach Chris McClung and the rest of the team, under the amazing tutelage of Steve Sisson, have helped me pull almost two minutes per mile out of every distance from 5k to marathon. They have created a community that creates winners. I’m still Boston bound!
  • Pedal Hard

  • MyFitnessPal
    • I used this to count calories for my first 90 or so days of serious weight loss. By that point, I knew how many calories key ingredients had, and I had a pattern that was working. I still weigh-in a few days a week, and I now have 7 years of historical data, and counting. Join me!
  • Strava
    • I syndicate my Garmin data over to Strava for fun. You can join me there, too, if you prefer it to Garmin.
  • Athlinks
    • The majority of my adult athletic record is here. Let’s compete!

  • Overuse (with insufficient recovery) and poor posture are the cause of many athletic injuries. Everything is manageable with commitment, focus, and good physical therapy! These practitioners have been very helpful for me.
  • Kiplimo Chemirmir is the world’s best massage therapist for runners!
  • I recommend 12-step to anyone who’s ready for new results. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop. AA. OA.

Financial Performance

Banking and Debt

  • Get a Kasasa checking and savings account, if you can. Way better rates and benefits than your big bank is giving you.
  • If you must borrow, get a car loan at your local credit union. Way better rates than your big bank is giving you.
  • Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University (Debt Management)
    • If no-one ever loved you enough to tell you to stay out of debt, Dave can help.

More Social Media

(in addition to the links at the bottom of the page)

  • Google+
    • I have an account here where I syndicate my blog posts.
  • Instagram
    • I’m learning to add more photos here before anywhere else. This is my favorite photo site, though most of my friends are on Facebook, linked below.
  • Flicker
    • Here’s an account I’ve had forever, with more photos.

Hi, I’m Dylan Cornelius. I’ve spent my career helping Fortune 500 companies build custom products and change the lives of their employees and customers. Now I teach business owners how to manage change like best businesses. Get great results, and change your life with product development, continuous improvement, and agile management practices. Not only does it help at work, it works for self development, life problems, fitness plans, and chronic illness. In graduate school, I concentrated in “Management of Innovation” — after all, I worked in Silicon Valley, and I’d grown up just down the road! It was there I learned we don’t have to work so hard! We don’t have to rely on trial and error or hope, we don’t have to settle for less than we really want, and, most of all, we deserve to have advantages just like the big companies. There’s a better way to get great results and change your life. Let me show you how to manage change like the best businesses. Get great results and change your life with product development, continuous improvement, and agile management practices.
