Lessons Learned
According to Wikipedia, Lessons learned are experiences distilled from a project that should be actively taken into account in future projects.
Accepting that a Project is a temporary undertaking with a specific goal, lessons learned can be taken from nearly any specific activity with an observable outcome.
Blah. Blah. Bleh.
All of this is to say that we can learn things if we pay attention to the results of our actions.
This enables us to get smarter, to learn from our results (both good and bad), so we can try new things in the future (or continue to do the things that work).
This is better than living the insane life of doing the same thing over and over while hoping for different results.
In these archives are examples of lessons myself and my teams have taken away from projects we’ve undertaken.
Perhaps you can use them to avoid the errors we have made, or you can be amused by our stories.
