About Dylan
Dylan was hired straight out of college — a psychology degree from UC Berkeley, no corporate experience — into a staffing office as a specialist. He quickly distinguished himself by placing Java developers, Oracle DBAs, and embedded systems engineers at bill rates 4x the office average. He has conducted more than 3,000 professional interviews.
He then spent 25+ years inside companies like Charles Schwab, Oracle, IBM, LPL Financial, and PNC — watching hiring, promotion, and compensation decisions from every side of the table. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University.
No hiring experience is required to call yourself a career coach. None. Most job search advice is written by people who have never sat across from a hiring manager with real authority. Dylan built this program from the other side of the table — starting on his first day out of college.
